Privacy policy

In short

This website does not have a server that stores your data. It is a set of static pages. There is no database, no account system, no login and no admin panel behind it.

The enquiry form on our contact page does not submit anything anywhere. It assembles the text you type into a message and hands that message to WhatsApp or to your own email application, where you choose whether to send it. Until you press send, nothing leaves your device.

Information we receive

We only receive information you deliberately send us. That happens when you telephone us, send a WhatsApp message, send an email, or hand over details in person when booking or during a visit.

Typically this is your name, telephone number, address or area, and a description of the electrical problem. For quotations and invoices we may also hold the details of the work carried out.

How we use it

• To understand the problem and decide what tools and parts to bring
• To reach your property and contact you about the appointment
• To prepare quotations, invoices and records of the work done
• To follow up on a repair, or to respond if you contact us again about the same job
• To keep records where we are required to for tax and accounting purposes

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your contact details to anyone
• We do not share your information with third parties for marketing
• We do not add you to a marketing list because you called us once
• We do not run advertising trackers or analytics profiling on this website

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and includes no third-party advertising or analytics trackers. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you will not find a cookie banner here.

Your browser may store ordinary technical information locally, as it does for any website, and our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs containing details such as IP address and request time. Those logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure rather than by us, and are used for security and reliability.

Links to other services

Some links on this site open external services — WhatsApp, Google Maps, your email application, and any social media profiles we list. Once you follow one of those links you are on that service, and that service's own privacy policy applies to what happens there.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept only as long as the message sits in our phone or inbox. Records relating to completed jobs — quotations, invoices and job notes — are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and warranty purposes, and no longer than the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the details below and we will deal with the request.

If you would rather not leave a written record at all, telephone us instead of messaging. We are happy to work that way.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site works changes — for example if a booking system is added in future — this page will be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top will change with it.
